I got Married June 2008, we thought his CPA was taking care of everything, then he called and said he’s needs my husband to come in and sign so he can send in 2005 & 2006. 1. I assume you have been paying for years on this debt. If you negotiated with the IRS to make payments, guess what? You’ll never get off the hook. Sorry.
