I owe $5,000.00 and don’t own a home, rent, and have $5,000.00 credit card debt. The IRS has a lien on my credit there for can’t get a loan to pay these people off. The irs accepted my offer in compromise for back taxes, but they kept my whole tax return for that year without applying it to my debt and basically told me it was because they “could, under the conditions of the contract. Will I ever get this money back?
