why would i bust my ass through highschool and college to settle for a cc education plus community college only goes to associate degree not bachelors so… you’re the idiot.
You don’t settle for the associates! Get all your general education and lower division major courses completed at the community college then transfer the maximum units!
Where I live community colleges cost under $1000 a year and every course is transferable! You can transfer 70 units to a 4 year state university in which you need 120 units to graduate.
=D If you cannot afford the education don’t go! It doesn’t matter how hard you worked in high school if you cannot afford it!
In 2 years I will be graduating debt free with a bachelors in accounting from a tier 3 state college. Jobs are plentiful in accounting and I have a very high gpa (3.6+).
Get a marketable bachelors degree from a state college and do everything you can at a community college. College is an investment not an entitlement! I received a superior education at the community college. Tons of individual attention!
If you graduate 40k in debt with a liberal arts degree you will be screwed!
At a summer internship in accounting I earned over $8,000. Every single accounting major I know with above a 3.2 gpa (including me) has already received a job offer!

The average salary for an art degree is under 32k a year! That is pathetic! you could make more working retail
an animator working with a top d-school degree starts off with about $60k a year, an art director starts with about $78k after 5 years experience entry level it goes up to about $68k. not bad for an art school. plus i just got an load of scholarships this year so im paying only 1k a semester

Have you gotten that offer in writing or are you just spouting off incomes from your desired occuption? I understand some people will start off at 60k in a large city if they are lucky enough to land a job.
The average art graduate even from a good school doesn’t usually start at above 35k. Good job on the scholarships though your art education is fine if it is free or cheap but an art degree is never worth 50k in debt.
Th market for art is too small to ensure a decent salary.

Colleges and those “loan” companies are all terrorists they make it sound all good on the surface but beneath that they’re fucking you over with their jew manipulation tricks. They lie to you so they can manipulate you in this hole then milk you for every penny and use you to pay for their “golf courses”, “mercedez”, “prada bags” for their wives, pointless waste of money expensive shoes. well you get the point you guys are slaves to produce their riches.
Yes, in theory so was communism, and I lived in it, and people abused that system too. I, for one, don’t care for capitalism. I like whatever the Danes, Swedes and Norwegians have. Whatever it is, it works great for them. I feel for you though. I too have a loan that I can’t pay. Plus, I lost 4 jobs in the past 6 years…. it sucks. And mine is only 18K.
I hope that you find a career that can pay off those loans because that seems like a lot of money for your career choice. You couldn’t go to a state school and maybe get scholarships or federal stafford loans? I guess what’s done is done.
